The third installment for the Bayside Gospel Concert aboard the Midway featured gospel megastar, Byron Cage, along with acknowledging the sacrifices of our active military and their families for our everyday freedoms, where a portion of each ticket sold goes to the San Diego Food Bank’s Military Outreach Program. This summer celebration of the American art form of Gospel music was a footnote to the end of the season in a notable and charitable way. Nothing can compare to the open air and energized performances from the roster of artists that took the stage this year. M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records, Inc., compiled an outstandingly talented lineup for this “praisefest,” it included internet sensation and comedian, KevOnStage, M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records, Inc. artists Archie Robinson and New Birth Praise, Men 4 Christ, the San Diego Super Choir, and Hip Hop artists Arch Angel & Egypt; as well as the remarkably talented Divine Praise Dancers of Los Angeles and Journey Community Church Praise and Worship Team. Bayside Gospel Concert aboard the Midway has become a staple for ticketholders who’ve come to expect a summer sunset on the bay complete with great music and award-winning performers. Be on the lookout for 2017 – it’ll be the most phenomenal event yet as the Midway Board of Directors, M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records, Inc., the San Diego Urban League and community leaders’ work together to bring diversity to this floating museum and symbol of our commitment to honor and acknowledge our military and their families. #baysidepraiseonthemidway
