M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records turned out to watch what turned up at the BET Celebration of Gospel at the Orpheum Theatre last weekend in Los Angeles. The air was charged with energy as we filed into the venue with the top names in gospel music today. There’s nothing like being shoulder- to- shoulder with industry “movers and shakers”; and keeping on top of the newest artists and trends in gospel, like contemporary styling from a Jonathan McReynolds or the smokin’ performance from veteran (first name) Charlie, (last name) Wilson, who left everything on the stage. M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records was well received and impressed by the gathering of executives and artists for the annual affair – stick around and we’ll be sure to keep you informed on all the latest news and information on the gospel industry from around the world!
For the second year in a row M.A.N.D.A.T.E. recording artists, Men4Christ, have been nominated as the Quartet of the Year. These seasoned veterans have performed at countless venues all over the globe, on tours, and as headliners in locations from the House of Blues to convention centers and college campuses.

Thompson III for about 20 years and have watched him build a great company and team,” states summit visionary and co-host, Arthur Mitchell, Urban Digital Network President. “I am very excited to have M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records as a part of this project.” Thompson has forged a place in the market of gospel music by successfully promoting and producing artists locally and internationally for over 20 years. What started as a grassroots label has bloomed into a nationally recognized label with a specific vision, “local origination, but global destination,” said Thompson.
